Our Story
A neighborhood
institution
The Daily Press opened in 2016 in a small corner space on Mountain Avenue. We started with one espresso machine, a used display case, and a very firm belief that Fort Collins deserved a café built around slowing down.
Nine years later, we've outgrown three spaces, trained dozens of baristas, and become the kind of place where people bring their first dates, write their first chapters, and catch up with people they've missed.
We source our coffee from small farms through direct relationships, bake everything from scratch each morning, and try very hard never to play music that makes you feel like you need to leave.
"We wanted a place where you didn't have to buy something every 45 minutes just to stay."
